We need help and we need it yesterday!

U. is the next generation in travel. Think Lululemon and GoPro had a baby in the extraordinary land of travel and wa-lah, U. is born.  We are a young travel start up company with an absolute belief that Travel Creates Better Human Beings.  In fact, we are unapologetically vocal about it. We’re all about responsible travel and that means everything from offsetting carbon footprints, to sponsoring the development of new reefs in ecologically challenged or adverse regions.  We believe in partying in Koh Phangan, but being up the next morning to help clean up.  

U. are the current and future disrupters in our industry - go, have fun, travel, engage and learn, understand and be involved, care and then come home and share.  Leave as you are now, but come home as a better more educated person.

What We Need

We need a super human digital savvy person to haul our asses into tomorrow’s world.

We therefor expect that you:

• Must have a high standard of work with an incredible attention to the finer details

• Are creative and can think outside the box 

• Must have a focussed and high work ethic.  We drive success at U. and we expect the same of our employees

• Be able to work diligently

• Preferably have at least one years experience in just one of the area you will be working with.

While we have embraced the new covid ‘work from home era’, we believe more strongly in our U. community and as such we are primarily office-based and we expect the successful candidate to be part of our physical team.

This is a job for an energetic and results focused individual who desires to be a driving force of our business.  You absolutely must have a ‘team focused mentality’ as you will have direct impact on our fantastic sales team and will need to be able to work closely with our Directors of Sales and marketing and Product Development.

The most important attribute required of this role is an absolute powerhouse desire to make a difference with our business.  If you have experience, fantastic…… if you have the certification in a relevant course….wonderful.  But we will absolutely look not just outside of the box, but beyond it to find the right person.

Your job, should you choose to take it….

You will basically be in charge of “All digital”. This means everything from increasing conversion rates on the website, to managing our PPC marketing, making a Social Media Marketing plan and sometimes writing some content if that is what is needed - We just need you to make us the best in everything digital! 

Off the top of our heads, you will be working with (we don’t expect you to be able to do all this now - we will up-qualify you rapidly!) 

Social Media

• Content generation

• Managing social media engagement

• Work with various content formats such as blogs, videos, audio podcasts, etc.

SEO/SEM - growth hacking  

• Email Marketing

• Plan, create and direct marketing campaigns

Advertising

• Key word search - Google Add Words 

• PPC in general 

Web Site

• Website development/optimization 

• Quantitative analysis of website traffic (understanding what the data is telling us)

• Content generation and content management

• Daily website updates and fixing the little problems that may arise

Other Stuff

• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs). 

• Identify trends and insights and optimizes spend and performance based on the information gathered

• Provide internal reports on a regular basis

• Execute new and creative collaborations among technologies and platforms

Also, the perfect candidate may also

• Also speak German, Swedish or Dutch (we expect you to know Danish and English)

• Have coding experience in the Wordpress/Woocommerce architecture including good javascript

• Have design skills including being able to work in Illustrator and Photoshop

• Be able to work in InDesign

• Be able to edit videos in After Effects or Premier Pro

• Need friends such that they work ridiculously long hours to achieve the above goals
