Project Management Intern

Salary Unpaid

Embark upon the project management challenge of your life

We are looking for our new Chief Operations Officer, someone who oversees daily operations and supports the progress of our teams while our CEO is busy saving the world.

Who are we?

Humanitrack was founded in 2018 to create a collective of global volunteers that focus their strategic actions to track and guide solutions battling things like cancer and climate change. Our developments and our dedicated teams help empower, align, and inspire their communities of STEM individuals in their projects, research, and careers.

Who are you?

A passionate and driven student looking for C-level startup experience, or a young professional who is hungry to know the ins and outs of project management, and work closely with our CEO to learn what it takes to run a startup. You are studying Business Administration, Business Development, or something related to Project Management.

The responsibilities:

  • Acting as a stand-in CEO with oversight of operations for all teams: Human Resources, Marketing & Communications, Quest Development, Platform Development, and Business Development

  • Manage the progress and completion of our objectives and timelines

  • Align your interests with our team leaders, and make sure everyone is on the right track

  • Connect with all our stakeholders to design and assign tasks where needed

  • Work independently and with integrity

  • Communicate effectively with our diverse team

  • Master scheduling and time management

  • Harness and develop your creative thinking and problem-solving skills

The rewards:

  • You are changing the world by joining a company that intends to do just that

  • First-hand project management experience

  • The chance to be part of an engaged and empowering team

  • An excellent career stepping stone toward project management or your own startup

  • Mentorship from our CEO

To thrive in this position you would require around 12-15 hours per week. Ideally, you can spend more if you would like to further your learning experience, and become an operating hero.
