Vaquita Technologies is a young Swedish startup located in Lund with a mission to help the environment recover through empowering future smart cities and municipalities to take an active role in addressing the quality of open and service waters. Healthy Waters = Healthy Planet!

The next step in our journey is to extend the work on our market strategy, handle public relations and drive brand strength and awareness.

Does this sound interesting to you? We are looking for an environmentally driven Sweden or Denmark based CMO who believes in the Vaquita Technologies approach and has an entrepreneurial background with a solid track record. It is an exciting role that offers an opportunity to build something great and includes defining and executing our marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience leading both B2B and B2C go to market strategies and managing a high-quality brand.

Main responsibilities:

• Set marketing goals and objectives and report to CEO on performance relative to these

• Plan, implement and manage marketing strategy to drive the growth goals of the company

• Manage stakeholders' expectations supplying feedback and expectations to the product side

• Drive brand strength and awareness through oversight of PR, brand and content marketing to accelerate growth

• Lead planning the go-to-market strategy

• Work collaboratively with the product management and engineering to manage customer expectations and deliver on marketing/growth objectives

• Use market and internal research and data to deeply understand the water quality market and plan next expansion segments with close CEO collaboration

• Embrace and develop the company culture of constant testing, analysis, and learning to discover new and innovative ways to grow revenue and scale marketing efforts

• Create and execute a plan to rapidly scale the organization to drive the company’s aggressive growth goals
