About the role 

As a Queue-it Senior Developer, you’ll work in an autonomous team that translates in-depth business knowledge into innovative solutions and loveable software. The team is responsible for all stages from the idea is born to the product is launched, including design, architecture, implementation, testing, and operations – and you’ll contribute to all of it.

Note that the contract title for this role will be "Senior Software Engineer."

Responsibilities 

Build and release world-class software. Every day, you’ll put your coding skills to the test, maintaining and improving our industry-leading platform.

Collaborate for success. Work with an empowered product team including developers, PM, and UX as well as the rest of the organization towards the mission of online fairness for all.

Ensure high-quality customer experience in daily operations. Your work will impact the world’s biggest brands and tens of billions of end-users. 

We are looking for someone with 

• 5+ years of experience with software development after graduation 

• An academic degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or similar 

Qualifications 

• Experience in C# .NET, Angular, JavaScript, Node.js or similar 

• Experience in cloud development; we use AWS 

• Solid understanding of SQL databases; we use Postgres 

• Experience in building testable software; we use Selenium 

• Excellent professional English (Danish not required) 

The preferred candidate 

• Can specialize in back end, front end, or full stack

• Is a team player with first-hand experience in agile development. 

• Thrives by writing resilient, quality code. 

• Is self-driven, proactive, goal-oriented, and excited to impact a fast-growing scale-up

• Could be a frontend or backend developer as long as you are ready to work in a full-stack environment

• Is a good mentor, ready to take more junior teammates under your wings.
