Are you passionate about clothing, fashion and being a part of positive change? Hack Your Closet is looking for an Inventory Assistant who can help us take our Closet to the next level!

Sustainability and circularity are the core of Hack Your Closet and with your help, we want to prolong the life of as many garments as possible and deliver the best surprise to every Closet Hacker.

As Inventory Assistant your responsibilities will be:

• Opening, sorting and organizing incoming goods (overstock* and secondhand garments)

• Barcoding garments

• Coordinating with our Styling Department to keep our Closet updated and fully stocked

• Organizing the storage rooms and stock area

• Helping keep our overstock items in rotation

• Adding overstock and new items to our internal system (Product Creation)

*Overstocks are new items we get directly from our Brand Partners. Usually these items were overproduced or didn’t sell and we use these garments in our Closet rather than letting them go to waste!

We are looking for a person who has/is:

• Fashion Design, Retail and/or Warehouse experience

• Basic sewing machine skills (needed for barcoding) (more advanced skills for mending items would be seen as a plus)

• Knowledge of fashion & fashion vocabulary

• Organized & Structured & Methodical

• Fluent in English

The role is part-time, starting at 20 hours per week.

Our office is located in Kista (near metro and bus stations) and this position will require on-site work.
