Part time / Student Worker - UX research

Donkey Republic is looking for a student worker or part timer to assist in helping improve our product through data- and user-test driven development.  We are on a mission to make cities more liveable, one bike ride at a time. We are 14,000 bicycles large in 70 towns across Europe, small and large, having served +1 million customers - which we call Riders. Our aim is to bring a convenient and affordable bike share to all cities around the world.

What you will work with 

You will be part of the software side of the product team, which has a laser focus on experimentation and improving the user experience of the Donkey Republic app. We work in a lean way conducting small experiments, validating ideas using data and carrying out small scale research studies. You will assist in conducting research, user testing and analysing data.

• This role would suit someone with a background in research or social sciences

• We are looking for someone with a curious mindset, with a strong drive to understand user behaviour and convert insight into solutions

• Someone who understands consumer pain points and how to get to the root cause of a problem

• Who is empathic and can be the voice of the user

• Knowledge about how to plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research

• Grasp of different exploratory and evaluative research methods

• Some experience conducting user testing, depth interviews or surveys

• Willingness to use experiments to learn

• Doesn’t mind helping with administrative tasks

If you don't feel you meet all of the points above, we'd still like to hear from you. What is most important for this position is having knowledge of how to conduct proper research, with a willingness to learn and get stuck in.
