Strong skills within .NET development and DevOps
This position is a mixture between Azure, .NET, MS-SQL and BI, so it’s essential that you have a good understanding of the Azure cloud ecosystem and is used to work in a DevOps like setup.
All products at Daman are Azure based and we are continuously investing in the Azure landscape to create stable and scalable products.
The ideal candidate is a bit of an octopus, and has senior level experience with .NET, C#, database development, Azure architecture, and DevOps – both in the products and the way of working effectively.
You will have a large impact on the HealthBuddy platform in Daman and your work will directly impact many patients. You will also collaborate with other passionate developers to bring innovative and useful digital health products to life.
The position as Senior Backend Software Engineer is placed in the HealthBuddy team which has a friendly atmosphere where we encourage and supports each other every day to create a great product.
The primary tasks and responsibilities are:
In close collaboration with the Tech Lead, and the front-end team, you will design and architect Azure Cloud systems supporting both small-scale mobile app projects and large-scale integrations
Develop back-end solutions
Expand the HealthBuddy platform so that it will continue to support the various products that it powers.
Engage with continuous delivery workflows in rapid development cycles
Your background
You have a relevant developer background at least at bachelor-level. You have minimum 5 years of experience as a backend developer. You can say yes to most of the following:
Strong experience using C# and .NET (Core)
Strong database experience (OLTP and OLAP).
Experience with development of REST-based APIs
Good understanding of data analysis
Good understanding of the Microsoft Azure Cloud ecosystem
Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD
Strong experience in software-architecture (we’re using a Domain Driven design approach)
Experience with SOLID and unit-tests (we actually create some)
Used to work in a SCRUM environment
We use the newest development tools and have automated release systems implemented, and it is a bonus if you have a curious mindset and like playing with Microsoft's newest cloud-based services. Moreover, it is a plus if you have healthcare experience, worked with mobile development and continous integration and delivery tools. You are proficient in either Danish or English both orally and in writing.
