At Feats, we’re looking for a Lead Front-End Developer to shape our team and tech as much as our product. If you’re an experienced developer ready to take the lead, we really hope to hear from you!
Why you should join us
Feats is in a very exciting period right now. After securing €2m funding, we’re growing the core team with the right people to join us on our journey to build the first professional network based on verified project history. We believe everyone has the right to be credited for the work they did, and that more transparency means better work opportunities and freedom for individuals, as well as lower recruitment costs for companies. As a developer, you’ve probably experienced not being allowed to share or show your work in interviews - it really sucks. We’re here to change that.
Your experience and skills
We are looking for an experienced front-end developer to take our development to the next level. Feats is a web app with a stack that is fun to work with, and you will have the ability to push it forward technically. We are looking for someone who can shape our future with us, including exploring new technologies and open source projects.
Must have:
Experience with Node.js and React.
Experience with workflows originating in Figma (e.g. component libraries).
Ability to write clean and well-tested code, and coach other developers to do the same.
Experience and interest in leading a team of engineers.
Interest in working with cross-collaboratively with product and design roles.
Nice to have:
Experience with Typescript.
Experience with component libraries - we use Storybook/Chakra UI for now.
Knowledge of Search UI/Elastic stack.
Interest in native apps and mobile development.
Experience or interest in DeFi/dApps/Web3.
Primary responsibilities
Maintain the front-end of our web app with a focus on user experience and developer experience.
Actively participate in discussions of current problems and how to solve them, from code to architecture design.
Write and test clean code and ensure high-quality user experience.
Make contributions to open source projects related to your work.
Our team is the company, and we highly value collaboration, honesty and openness. We’re not going to throw all those cheesy buzzphrases at you “agile processes,” “work hard play hard” – instead we invite you to meet us and see for yourself. Our base is in central Copenhagen in the amazing offices of NOMAD Workspace in Nørrebro. We generally have a “work from anywhere” philosophy, but would prefer if you can join us for a few days of the week at the office.
How to apply Please send a short message about yourself and a link to your GitHub profile.
