Overview 

Enterspeed is a start-up focused on delivering tools for developers to create blazingly fast and globally scalable APIs for digital services. We are on a mission to democratise high-performance APIs. Our platform enables low-code API design and is born in the decoupled headless paradigm.

We are looking for the right person to lead the product development of our platform. You will have a pivotal role in shaping a platform that will enable many more developers to create high performing APIs for their digital services.  

You should first and foremost have experience with creating a product vision, prioritising the right features and deliver on them together with engineers. The key for success in this role is a deep understanding of web development and how our platform can best solve our customers’ issues. 

We imagine you have a background as skilled developer with experience in building websites and ecommerce solutions. We are developers building software for developers. You should be proficient in the general domain of web application development, with specific domain knowledge for at least some of the following areas:

• MACH (Microservices, API first, Cloud-native and Headless)

• CMS and Headless CMS

• Developer tooling and workflows

• JavaScript frameworks such as Nuxt.js or Next.js

• Jamstack concepts and platforms

Job description 

As Product Lead, you will have a pivotal role in our company. You will be an integrated part of our small product team and work with all parts of the product. Your focus will be on how our users utilise the Enterspeed platform.

The Enterspeed platform is a Backend For Frontend (BFF) SaaS with high performance out of the box. Our customers use the platform to design and operate their APIs so they can focus on delivering a frontend with an amazing user experience. 

You will focus on how our users can build websites and ecommerce solutions using Enterspeed: What capabilities are needed within the product and how Enterspeed integrates into the developer workflow.

Our objective is to push the web to be faster and easier to build and operate, and if this is something you also have a keen interest in, we are especially interested in hearing from you.

When it comes to experiences and qualifications, we believe it's more important what you can learn tomorrow, than what you know today. But to give you a bit more insight into the job and what a great candidate looks like, we have listed some of the experiences we are looking for. Don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes - if you are smart and have experience with building a strong product vision, we want to hear from you!

We are looking for someone who:   

• Have demonstrated an ability to discover opportunities, and then define and deliver features that delight web developers

• Must be able to define and manage a product roadmap

• Deeply understands the world of web development

• Have experience in or a desire to work with developer relations – i.e., you should enjoy engaging with and reaching out to other developers

• Experience with component-based JavaScript frameworks 

• Have experience with one or more CMSs - preferably including both monoliths as Umbraco or Sitecore and headless CMSs as Contentful or Storyblok

• Have experience with the Backend For Frontend pattern and API development

• Familiarity with developer workflows and deployment (Git, CI/CD) 

• Understands the HTTP protocol and generally have a broad knowledge about how the web works.

Enterspeed is a small and mature product company born out of the experience gained from many years of web development and large e-commerce solutions in the web consultancy industry. We have strong backing from leading Danish pre-seed investors and an exciting roadmap to democratise high-performance APIs.

We are currently a small 5-person engineering team. Our development process is based on agile principles where we work in sprints, continually delivering working and high-quality software.  

We have set out to create a digital-first engineering organisation that allows you to work remote or out of our office in Højbjerg, Aarhus depending on your own preferences. But this is just a part of our approach to being a flexible workplace. We believe you can do your best work when you also take good care of yourself and your loved ones. It's expected you primarily work from a European time zone.
