Codux is growing and looking for a UX Design intern to participate in the design process. The ideal candidate has some experience with user experience design and user interface design. You will be collaborating in the design process with more senior UX designers where you will be sketching wireframes one day, planning workshops the next, and rounding the week off by presenting and testing prototypes.

The skills you will improve during the internship:

• Lead multidisciplinary teams through the design process - from discovery, research, and prototyping through execution and implementation - collaborating closely with engineering and product to find the best solutions together.

• Conduct usability tests

• Create wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps, and screen flows

• Develop personas and usage scenarios

• Create prototypes of different levels of fidelity to help determine design direction for a project

• Construct information architecture, interaction models, customer flows, schematics, and visual design that bring new ideas to life

• Work with shifting requirements in a fast-paced and fluid environment and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, engineers, product managers, and other UX designers

• Analyze user feedback and activity, and iterate to enhance the user experience

• Continuously measure how designs are performing and iterate to improve those experiences

Qualifications:

• At least some experience of UX-related design ideally in a software setting

• Can demonstrate creative, technical, and problem-solving skills to build compelling user experiences

• Relevant educational background

• Have an understanding of graphic design and web technologies

• Ability to convey concepts through wireframes, flows, storyboards, and mockups.

• Ability and interest to learn new design techniques and patterns quickly.

• You have empathy and can be a strong advocate for our users while balancing the vision and constraints of technical or product realities.

• Familiarity with UX tools such as Figma.

A plus if you can show:

• Previous experience working in a startup environment

• A portfolio showing passion for design
