System Integration Technician

We are now looking for a technician-level role as a System Integrator, to strengthen our System integration team!

 What will I be doing?

  • Build microwave electronics according to documentation and perform testing and calibration and benchmarking of electronics.
  • Test and characterize electronic and cryogenic equipment.
  • Keep the lab organized and handle lab-related procurement and management.
  • Build electronic racks to specification.
  • Develop lab monitoring, and deploy sensors.
  • Work with a cryogenic operator for the operation of a dilution refrigerator.
  • Assist in the development, design, and implementation of the lab infrastructure.
  • Refill lab consumables.
  • Train new lab users.

What skills do I need?

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in engineering, or other related fields.
  • Strong organizational skills and sensitivity to details.
  • A feeling of responsibility for the work to be delivered.
  • Ability to research and learn new procedures quickly.
  • Experience in a laboratory or cleanroom facility is preferred.
  • Effective communication, IT knowledge, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good use of the English language for communicating technical details.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse cross-disciplinary team environment.
