With the rise of SaaS tools, productivity has increased dramatically in companies, but it also comes with some drawbacks. All your data is now scattered around in various tools, making it difficult to reconcile. This often leads to reporting being done in silos where marketing, sales, finance, engineering have their own reporting, and teams not agreeing on even basic metrics like revenue or customer acquisition cost.

I’m sure you can recognize creating manual reports for the leadership team in Excel from Salesforce or Hubspot, or having to align numbers with marketing, due to inadequate data operations.

If you have a couple of data engineers to spare and money for 3-4 more tools maybe you can solve this yourself. But we believe there’s a better way:

So, what’s the opportunity?

We are growing at lightning speed, and need a rockstar Account Executive who can join our team in the early stages, where you can have a huge impact on our future growth 🚀 Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and scaling Weld’s sales activities across Europe and reach our ambitious goals. We need to scale knowledge and communication across our teams to ensure that we are thought leaders within our industry - and that’s where you come in! 

As an Account Executive, your task is to sell Weld to companies in the SMB segment in Europe & the US. Weld is a technical product with larger deal sizes, which creates unique challenges and opportunities for the sales organization. We will help develop your existing competencies to master everything required to excel in software sales (SaaS) and specifically data infrastructure. It is a success criterion that you master the entire B2B sales process from end to end, including the outbound discipline which must ensure that your pipeline of booked sales meetings (virtual and physical) is always solid enough to meet your target. Your pipeline is supplemented weekly by companies who contact us themselves and request a meeting because of our marketing efforts and other campaigns.

What we expect from you:

  • Fluent in English (we are an international company with English as an internal company language). Mastering another European language is a plus. 

  • B2B Sales Experience (Minimum 1 year with proven results).

  • Ambitions - and lots of them - strong inner motivation, combined with a positive mindset (At Weld we chase “Unicorn status”).

  • As a profile, you are more proactive than passive (outbound experience is preferable).

  • Winner attitude - understanding that there are both good and bad days, but having the ability and mindset to get through both.

  • Strong communicative competence set - You must master communication both in writing, by telephone and face-to-face.

  • Exceptional people skills: Good at listening, empathetic by nature, calm and collected - naturally curious and interested in other people. At Weld, our ABC is: Always Be Curious.

We're a team of 30+ people based in Copenhagen and spread around the world (and soon in London and New York). We're all generalists; each with our expertise and constantly picking up new challenges as well as giving a helping hand whenever needed. We're currently looking for people who are eager to learn and who are not afraid of building things end-to-end. We want to find curious minds who can pick up a given problem and solve it. We're headquartered in the heart of Copenhagen, but we're very remote-friendly.
