Charge4Go is a Swedish Tech Startup with the aim to simplify the European electric car market. We have our own developed platform for charge station operators and drivers, providing them with an exceptional charging tool, a flexible cloud service for fleet charging and simple payment solution for all charge stations. We launched our app in July 2021, which has since been used in thousands of charging sessions in Sweden and Denmark.

We are looking for a General Manager to lead our ambitions on the Danish market! 


Main Challenges

The GM will focus on building revenue, mainly through two channels: collaborations with charge point operators through the platform and growing the end user base. Operators are both enterprise (E.on, Clever) and small/medium (restaurants, housing associations, shopping malls). The sales cycles vary greatly, so it demands a mix in the sales funnel to secure meeting quotas. There are many channels to use, so the GM needs to develop a solid understanding of the Danish business and how to reach and grow user and operator base in the region.

It will be especially important to build recurring and loyal customers.


Responsibilities & tasks

The GMs role consists of securing consistent growth within the region of responsibility. The company will for the next coming years be constantly focusing on growth and scaling the 

business. The GMs primary focus is therefore to build the business in the region according to the company's overall targets. 

The GM will be building a team adapted to the business growth and to the financial situation the company has. This role consists of owning the P&L for the country/region of responsibility and together with the management set targets, KPI:s and deliverables to achieve overall targets. 

As GM you will be fully responsible for the results the region has. This includes sales, marketing and business development. The work will be executed together with the global team and in the future also the local team. In the beginning the GM will also be responsible for recruiting the new stars of the local team. 

The GM will also be the front face of the company in the region, this means that involvement within political discussion, industry forums etc. are important to build the brand in the region.

What we are looking for:

Preferably, you have experience from a platform business model with an understanding of how to build both user and supplier base in parallel. Since this role will be a sales heavy position, we would like you to have experience from building small and large accounts. 

  • University degree, preferably (but not excluding) Finance or Industrial Economics

  • At least 5-7 years of working experience

  • Proven results of building a customer base

  • Preferably experience from managing sales funnels of both small and large accounts

  • Experience from setting and managing a budget

  • A solid understanding of KPI’s and metrics

  • English and Danish fluency
