As a part of our team expansion, we are searching for a Business Developer to build our sales team long-term.

About the Position

Your main responsibilities will be developing and scaling new and existing business segments for the Outshifter API service; which offers access to product information (FMCG) for any online surface wanting to engage in eCommerce.(such as apps, games, streaming services, webpages and marketplaces). As we´re in a growth phase you will be asked to cover several tasks and projects, including research, strategy, lead generation, and sales. The position will require you to adapt quickly and solve challenges on the go. You need to work strategically long term with larger partners as well as delivering on short-term goals. 

Key Tasks 

• Identify and research potential clients and markets

• Quickly explore new markets and go-to-market strategies

• Creation and execution of sales strategies

• Drive sales processes and contract negotiations (physically and digitally)

• Develop and maintain customer relationships

• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships.

We´re looking for someone with

• 3-5 years of work experience (within business development, management consulting, eCommerce or related fields)

• Ability to understand the Outshifter product and work with technical customers

• Experience with business development and sales

• Fluent in English and one Scandinavian language, both written and oral

• Self starter / growth mindset

• High level of structure and great communication skills

• Experience from other start-ups and/or fast growing tech companies

Outshifter is: The GraphQL API for product information access.

What Outshifter does: Outshifter synchronises and aggregates product data (stock, SKU`s, pricing, variations etc) from the suppliers eCommerce systems (like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce etc). The information / data is standardized and made available for third parties through our GraphQL API documentation. 

Value: Outshifter enables suppliers to standardise product information so they can easily give access to third parties, scale online distribution and increase revenues. Thereby simplifying and democratising access to product information for any online surface wanting to engage in eCommerce, in order to add value to their users and increase revenues.
