When you think of your dream job, does your mind immediately go to how you would architect your react application to be just-so? Do you have a picture of the architecture in your mind, the quality of code, the libraries to stitch together, and how you want to deploy it - and do you have the drive to then implement those ideas? Then you might be our next Lead Frontend Developer for our customer facing Weld app!

The role

You'll be responsible for the architecture, quality, scalability and testability of the app that sets up data synchronisations that happen 100.000s of times per month. You'll be the technical lead for the frontend, and will work closely with our existing frontend developer team, product and UX to implement new features, and ensure a consistent quality. You may, if you wish, also have direct reports, but it is not a requirement.

You'll own the frontend aspect of features - like our internal data modeling tool that will help companies implement best practices for their data, and a data lineage tool that will help ensure transparency of where data comes from, and where it is going - and of course many more. You'll take over a modern app built on react with tailwindcss, talking to GraphQL through Apollo, being managed through AWS Amplify - and the best part is, if you dislike some of the tech stack, we expect you to change it!

The nitty-gritty skills needed;

• Experience with React and Typescript

• Have experience with architecture best practices including; testing, deployment, canary testing, design systems, scalability

• Can-do attitude and a team player

We’d be thrilled if you;

• Know Amplify and other relevant AWS technologies

• Is well-versed in git

• Have proven ability to scale an application

• Have proven ability to lead a team of frontend developers
