WHAT UTOPIANS DO
We are building a better world for music with innovative big data technology that tracks online music sources and translates them into meaningful music consumption reports for royalty collection. The solution we’re building does not threaten to usurp the role of industry incumbents - it is about bringing transparency in the industry and supporting efficient royalty collection.
WHAT YOUR ROLE WILL BE
You will co-plan, develop and implement commercial strategies of the Royalty Management Services business unit based on the company targets and objectives with the main goal of supporting and accelerating growth and revenue.
Co- defining the strategy and actively strategizing in order to achieve set outcomes.
Incorporating commercial company policies and procedures
Proactively monitoring revenue and aligning it with the business unit goals.
Analyzing market trends and reporting back to the organization to increase the product line
Implementing new customer acquisition strategies
Building effective relationships with clients to maintain good revenue growth for the business unit and organization
Manage the existing client relationships and understand their requirements
Co- creating new strategies in collaboration with the marketing department and coordinating the activities in collaboration with the marketing department

Many enriching interactions with all the business lines of the organization and outside
THE IDEAL SKILLSET
5+ years' experience as Commercial Director in the Music Industry, relationships with Collection Societies and understanding this space is required
Bachelors or Masters degree in business administration, sales or relevant field
Fluency in English and communication finesse, additional languages are a plus
Experience in Client Relationship Management
In-depth knowledge of market analysis and metrics
Hands on experience in creating reporting
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
