Our team is growing, and we’re now looking for a Junior Financial Controller (To be senior and maybe CFO) to join our Finance team here in Copenhagen.

As we’re a small team, we all have a variety of responsibilities, and we all work closely together to achieve our goals. We work intensely with OKRs, which you will learn in no time - if you're not already familiar with the framework.

We work towards making country moving as transparent and easy as possible.

To succeed you must

• Be able to navigate and work analytically with Accounting and Finance ecosystem

• Be experienced in accounting in growing companies

• Be comfortable with ERP systems, such as E-economic, Dinero, Billy

• Be responsible and quality minded

• Be a person with a high degree of integrity

• Be fairly technologically savvy and have a good understanding of online tools

• Be an employee with a relevant educational background to succeed in the role

• Be comfortable with owning and developing day-to-day accounting operations

• Be comfortable in high-paced environments

• Optimize how workflows are carried out across departments and eventually logged in our ERP systems and internal databases

• Working proactively with developing the finance function and adapting to new tasks and responsibilities that emerge from the growth of the business

• Automating manual tasks and seeing the value in building a finance function that shines, not through headcount, but efficiency through systems, integrations and automations.

• Crunching numbers and deep dive into complex data to find the “key” takeaway

Responsibilities for the role

• Own complex administrative finance and accounting tasks from A-Z (e.g. month-end tasks, supplier reconciliation, budget and forecasting, VAT, payroll and finance modelling)

• Quality assurance of the bookkeeping

• “Go-to person” within the payroll for the whole organisation

• “Go-to person” for E-conomic and accounting related questions

• Drive and develop the processes for accounting to make sure we work as automated and efficiently as possible

• Consolidate books across the MoveNation Group on all levels

• Be the point of reference for our CFO and CEO

• Financial reporting on numbers and state of business in various settings e.g. Board presentations, management brief, etc.

• Meet your new colleagues and understand “who is doing what”

• Get comfortable with the day-to-day operations of Finance

• Understand the accounting and finance ecosystem within the firm

Within 3 months

• A clear overview of “who’s who” and “who’s doing what”

• A clear overview of the finance and accounting landscape

• Getting in sync with the CFO, the Auditors and the external Bookkeepers to align on tasks, developments and priorities

• Gradually moving away from merely supporting your finance team members in your responsibilities and moving towards owning more and more of them
