To grow our business we are both looking for a person that can help with the communication of our game and organization, a SoMe Manager or a Marketeer.


About our game and organization

We are developing a prototype of a digital educational card and city builder game in a historical and mythological universe. The aim is to inspire learning of history and other subjects. The upcoming game is in pre production.

The player will be taking charge of a civilization that will go through history. Letting you experience what happened in the past according to historical records. Decisions making and dilemmas open for an engaging gameplay. While diplomacy, trade and wars are bound to start conflicts. This innovative game sees characters in cards moving combat on a grid format. The inspiration comes from: Magic, Civilizations, Age of Empires and Heroes.

We are an early stage startup that is disrupting the educational system and the game industry, by making edutainment games; (entertainment and education) all with a high impact! We are a full service solution for developing and educating in using games for learning.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a visionary and loving small family of professionals. We believe that making games should be as fun as playing them.


Details

You can work remotely, but you are also welcome in our office in Copenhagen or a blended mixture either in a part time or full time position. Internships are also possible. Our company is not funded yet so our employees are running on passion and creativity. Once the game is sold or the company is funded, payment will be distributed to team members as revenue share.


The position & Responsibilities

The tasks will be varied and you will have a lot of freedom in defining what you will do and identifying what needs to be done. You will assume a central function in the team.

You will be the key driver in communicating what we are doing in the team and how we can market it online. To do this you will work closely with all central team members to get an understanding of what goes on and how we can tell a story about the team and product. We want to build a community and create awareness of our organization and game where friendliness and engagement is paramount for our new group.


Key tasks and duties:

  • Take co-responsibility for our external communication

  • Help us define how we can market our game and who we can develop our game to fit the market

  • Developing a stronger online presence on our channels

    • Our website (Wix), Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn and at some point on: Twitter, Patreon, Steam, Twitch Discord and Kickstarter.

  • Engage with our audience and users, attract their attention.

  • Communicate with the team on what they are doin as we want the world to see how we make video games

  • Work with our Graphic Designers to create infographic and other online content

  • We might have some live streams we want you to assist with

  • You must be ready to take responsibility and identify areas that could benefit from your talents and join a collaborative effort to raise the quality of the entire experience we deliver to the players.


We ask that you attend our weekly business meeting and end of the week wrap-up which is also social event as well.


Requirements:

The ideal candidate is highly driven and self-motivated with experience in increasing awareness community development efforts and has some knowledge of games and even better the gaming industry.

  • You can communicate well in English and write engaging stories and communicate with users.

  • You have experience with one or more of these platforms and an interest to learn about the rest:

    • websites (Wix), Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Patreon, Steam, Twitch, Discord and Kickstarter.


Pluses:

  • You can speak Danish and knows the culture and society

  • Experience with games and game development

  • Experiences with blog posts or press releases

  • You can analyze and report on our online users data to drive continuous improvement, optimization, and innovation

  • You can provide meaningful feedback to developers and artists on the community’s sentiment, concerns, and suggestions


Planned interview process

We plan to carry out two rounds of interviews, we imagine an online interview, potentially on a weekend. Interviews are expected to take place in the end April
