The role:

We are looking for a mid-level or junior backend developer who wants to make the step to become a mid-level developer. The main task would be to help us scale to new countries. This includes:

• Finding and acquiring data. This requires analysing and filtering data based on quality, relevance and scalability, and requires you to sometimes call providers to negotiate or speed up processes.

• Integrating the data into our existing database. This will also require you to adjust the structure to be more and more scalable.

• Automating our data import as much as possible.

This role offers the possibility of growing into a full-stack.

The role will be filled as soon as the right candidate is found.

About you:

A computer science / engineering professional, who:

• Has professional experience in Python or a similar programming language

• Is interested in growing into data acquisition and maybe even full stack

• Can work in close coordination with the data science and developer teams.

• Has strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Has very good communication and negotiation skills

• Is proactive and resourceful in finding solutions with a strong problem-solving acumen

• Is self-driven and self-starter who takes initiative and prioritises multiple projects under tight timelines

• Has a strong sense of urgency and ability to work independently on assignments with limited supervision

• Follows Agile processes and principles.

• Has a passion for building digital tools that have a real-world impact.

• Experience in real estate / prop-tech domains is a big plus
