We are a young startup based in Denmark with a Dutch entity. We are looking for a Financial Controller 

Welldium is a venture-backed HealthTech startup on a mission to support the shift in the focus of our healthcare system from treating symptoms to addressing root causes. We help holistic healthcare practitioners by supplying their patients with high-quality supplements in a more convenient way. We bring transparency to the fragmented supplement industry.

The job

As Financial Controller you ensure our financial reporting is done correctly and timely. You will be responsible for all finance matters and report directly to our CEO, Luisa. 

Responsibilities

You will be the owner of the budgeting, forecasting and reporting process in a growing startup with a dynamic environment. For that it is a big plus if you have experience with the following:

• Financial systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics

• Worked in multi-country organizations (Netherlands is a plus)

Tasks

• Ensure that monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports are correctly prepared

• Monitor and control variances to the budget

• Ensure the data for VAT reports is completed

• Managing and communicating with external bookkeeping teams in the Netherlands and in Denmark to ensure correct monthly reporting

You…

• Have a Masters in finance or accounting

• Have 3+ years of experience of working in similar position

• Have startup experience (not a must but a plus)

• Are curious to learn 

• Are detailed-oriented, structured and proactive

• Are not afraid of new technologies and would enjoy leading system migration efforts 

• Are able to communicate with the rest of the organization and coordinate efforts in the team when needed

• Strive in a startup environment where not everything is pre-defined and where one day is never the same as the other.
