Motosumo is on a mission to help people lead happier and healthier lives, with fun and interactive at-home indoor cycling classes.
Developed by a nerdy team of astrophysicists, engineers, and math geniuses, the Motosumo app connects our members from around the world for live and on-demand cycling classes packed with tons of games and cool features.
We love our team here in Copenhagen, and we need a talented copywriter to help our brand grow!
You are:
An experienced copywriter who knows how to capture a brand’s tone of voice and produce a wide range of written content for blogs; web copy; social media; UX and microcopy; sales, marketing and PR materials; ads; and anything else that might pop up.
You are a natural storyteller and craft compelling, concise, and charismatic content. Though you don’t go overboard with the alliteration. You’re a hawk-eyed editor and know how to turn drab or generic copy into something special. You detest jargon.
You understand good design and have experience working closely with other creative professionals, marketing bods, and tech nerds.
It would also be cool if you were a kind, affable person with a sense of humor. Life in a startup is lots of fun, but it can also be a little chaotic. Sometimes you have to be adaptable and think on your feet. At the same time, you’ll get involved in every level of the company, so you should be comfortable working with everyone, including members, stakeholders and investors.
Ideally, you’re familiar with the world of fitness, perhaps even a fan of indoor cycling.
About you:
You are ready for a full-time role in a fast-growing international fit-tech scale-up.
Studied journalism, communications, literature, etc.
Have a few years of experience as a copywriter under your belt, either in-house or at an agency.
You can write for different audiences and channels, while maintaining our brand’s tone of voice (B2C experience is an extra plus).
You have some familiarity with the world of communications and PR, can knock up press releases, and pitch stories to media outlets.
You are a native English speaker, and you know the difference between US and UK English.
You know what formats are needed and how to optimize them for different media and channels.
You’re a creative type and love a good brainstorming session.
You’re comfortable multitasking and taking on ad hoc tasks.
You’re not afraid of dishing out (or receiving) constructive criticism.
You are a strong gatekeeper for our brand, and help others stick to our tone of voice.
You are team-oriented, can work independently, follow guidelines and have a positive and proactive vibe.
You are based not too far from our headquarters in Copenhagen.
Your level of responsibility will grow as you show results. We promise that no two days are the same. You get to work with a group of dedicated, sports and tech nerds who are always learning and sharing new things. It will be exciting, fun and challenging!
