The position requires a minimum of 16 hours (depends on your circumstances) per week. The hours are flexible, and we can plan them around your studies. We are looking to fulfill the position as quickly as possible.

About the role

As BDR, you are the company's first point of contact in our target markets. Your responsibility is to contact pre-selected leads to generate business opportunities by qualifying potential clients.  Working in the sales team, you will be in close contact with the Research team and Account Management team to align on qualification criteria and best practices.   Proven sales skills, self-motivation, and eagerness are just some criteria for success, a high performing BDR must possess.


Job Description The main task of a BRM is to Conduct market and background research that can support the sales team and the business strategy. As a researcher, you will be an important part of the sales team and contribute valuable information to the BDR and the sales director.  You must possess great knowledge of our product/services to ensure the best quality and market understanding of new leads. Furthermore, you must hold great market understanding to have the best conditions to discover new contacts (leads).


  1. Articulate and understand the value of WasteHero’s solution to B2B and B2G.

  2. To ensure that the sales team has sufficient knowledge on leads.

  3. Possess great knowledge of the markets WasteHero operates in to understand where and how to seek for new business opportunities.

  4. Possess great knowledge of the current leads and have the ability to support the BDR and AE with sufficient knowledge to deal with the leads.

  5. Ensure that the BDR has a healthy lead pipeline.

Primarily work tasks

  1. Investigate different markets to identify new potential leads by the following step:

    Multiple contact persons, if possible, decision makers (minimum 2)

    • Phone, mobile, Email, LinkedIn

    • Organization info

    • Industry

    • Size

    • Relevance

    • Competition

  2. Creating an up-to-date overview of contacts with accompanying information that is easily accessible for the rest of the BDR and AE.

  3. Conduct market research and analysis on new markets, with the aim of making a valid decision on a potential market expansion into attractive markets (see market attractiveness diagram).

  4. Present the results from your research in a nice and easy way to understand.

  5. Work effectively to pre-set KPI’s and organizational goals


Experience Required:

  • Studying on a business bachelor´s or master’s degree or alike required

  • Native Danish speaker and outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Results-driven personality with efficient time management

  • A willingness to keep learning and pushing yourself to learn and grow.

  •  Excellent organizational skills

  • Must have a hunger for building something new and innovative through organic growth strategies

  •   Self-starter able to work with minimum supervision
