Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Global Event Manager who will be responsible for our event strategy for physical and virtual events. You are probably just as excited as us about going back to physical events in 2022, but you’re also experienced in holding virtual or hybrid events, not only as an alternative to physical events, but also sometimes as a better option.

Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, you will become part of a successful and fast-growing marketing team, where you will have a visible and direct impact on driving revenue on our global markets in an exponentially growing company.

You will drive the event marketing strategy from ideation to execution. You will be end responsible for planning a range of annual events, from small intimate executive gatherings to big industry and tech conferences.

At the events you will either personally or with the remote help from our field marketing team, ensure that events are on-brand, executed smoothly and delivering on the event goal.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and plan global industry/business events and conferences, both physical and virtual across all Leapwork’s global markets

  • Manage our events calendar and prioritize based on past performances

  • Plan event goals and execute integrated event marketing programs to drive pipeline and acceleration, as well as customer loyalty and expansion

  • Effectively track and use metrics to show the return on investment, completion of event goal, impact of sponsorship opportunities and events

  • Manage all event coordination and logistics, including negotiation, proposals, deadlines, venue, booth layout, booth staffing, and budget

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders

  • Manage and negotiate vendor relationships with industry organizations, exhibitor service providers, etc

  • Work in close collaboration with your colleagues in Marketing to create an impactful event strategy and provide you with everything required to run, attend, and promote the events


About you

  • You are a positive minded, energetic person who can keep calm when working under pressure before and during an event

  • You are organized and structured with high attention to details

  • You know how to assess and prioritize workload in a strict deadline-oriented environment

  • You have great diplomatic and people skills, as you will be working with many different types of people and stakeholders

  • Willingness to travel


Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience

  • +3 years of experience in developing and implementing integrated B2B events including live events, virtual events, and digital programming

  • Experience with event management software (Bizaboo, Splashthat, Cvent, etc) and streaming platforms such as Hopin

  • Experience working with Hubspot, or other marketing automation platforms

  • Excellent communication skills
