Strategic Business Development Manager
Seasony is looking for a Strategic Business Development Manager, that would like to join us to spearhead the strategic efforts in an exciting industry, where the crucial solutions and technologies are still in the midst of being defined.

About Seasony
Seasony helps vertical farms feed the world with less hassle and more automation. We do that with our modular autonomous mobile robot “Watney” that can perform logistics and surveillance in a vertical farm.
With this solution, we offer vertical farms substantial reductions in labor costs, more efficient operations, and an increase in yield on top.
As Watney provides a platform for further automation we have created an open partner ecosystem for module development, that enables Seasony to offer an adaptive, one-size-fits all solution for vertical farms. Together with Watney, we are building a platform that allows a seamless operational experience when setting up automation or browsing through data.
Your role
You will work with the founder team on the strategy, product offering, and business models, as well as being part of building our customer relations.
Depending on your competencies, your primary tasks will vary from:
Continue to refine our strategy to become a logistics and data platform in the vertical farming space.
Work with potential clients and technology partners to understand their strategy, pain points , and opportunities and articulating how Seasony can help them achieve their ambitions.
Articulate and demonstrate Seasony’s solutions through strategic value-based selling, building strong business cases, developing a return-on-investment analysis, and using other references and industry data to build relationships at multiple levels and ultimately drive deals from inception to close.
Create and execute plans which address tactical and strategic opportunities.
Help build new product- and strategic partnerships

4-5 years experience in business development or management consulting
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships and foster collaboration
Poise, executive presence, outstanding communication skills
High degree of proactivity
Extensive experience with crafting and delivering proposals and presentations
Experience counseling others
