Flagship Store – Mothership @ MATE.BIKE
MATE is on the lookout for a sharp, proactive, and hard-working Store Manager to take command of the day-to-day activities of our Copenhagen-based Flagship store. You must possess stellar customer service skills, managerial experience and be driven by the desire to increase the company revenue through sales maximization with supreme attention to extraordinary service.
As you will be serving local customers, Danish is a must!
The position is full-time and you might be required to work a few hours during the weekends. If you are an enthusiastic, animated, and sales-focused person who loves interacting with people then you have what it takes to become our next Showroom expert. You will be helping customers identify and purchase the products they desire while assuring all store operations and processes are in compliance with MATE standards.

Job duties and responsibilities
Greeting, receiving, and attending to customers
Having a strong personally built customer base and network
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
Preparing and managing orders, being involved in stock control and management
Processing cash and card payments, balancing cash registers with receipts
Offering advice and guidance on product selection to customers
1 st Level Support on Troubleshooting issues with the bikes (no tooling assistance)
Demonstrating the showroom products to the customers (bike functionality, foldability, drive customers through the MATE. experience, etc.)
Keeping up to date with special promotions and updating displays
Displaying showroom products and merchandise in a pleasing and attractive manner
Maintaining the showroom tidy and clean
Being responsible for the security within the showroom
Opening/closing
Responsible for security and inventory of the Flagship store.
Coach and Guide other Staff members, including shift planning.
Qualifications
You have proven working experience in high street retail as a store manager, with a minimum of 5 years, and a strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
You are native in Danish and have a proficient level of English
You have strong communication skills and a passion for interacting with people, also on an international level
You possess excellent organizational skills with an ability to multitask in a highly dynamic work environment
You show the desire to help improve the overall setup and processes, with an understanding of the sales process cycle
You have strong knowledge of inventory techniques, systems, and management
You have a super friendly and engaging personality and are able to nicely sail within the chaos
You are passionate about bikes and cycling
