The music streaming industry is growing quickly with revenues estimated to triple and grow to $75B by 2030. Linkfire recently went public on Nasdaq First North Premier Growth Market in Stockholm.
As a Lead Product Designer, you will facilitate building the biggest global discovery network in the music industry and connecting creators/artists with fans through a world class user experience and a distinctive brand. We are looking for a Lead Product Designer who is a champion at design thinking, a Figma master, a Notion advocate, thinks big but can manage all types of product design challenges, is detail-oriented, organised, curious, and collaborative.
You will work within a product team to craft end-to-end experiences for our customers and end-users, from discovery sprints to product launches. We are looking for someone who is highly skilled, self-driven, and used to working as part of a product team. You'll be doing research with customers and users, turning insights into awesome interfaces and prototypes, and navigating stakeholders and priorities. Product Designers at Linkfire are given a lot of autonomy and trust, to shape and create solutions in close collaboration with their product teams. In this role you'll report to the Head of Design.
What you'll be doing
Lead design for your product team. Own the end-to-end design process on both large-scale projects and smaller optimizations in close collaboration with the Product Manager; from research and ideation to design, prototyping and user testing. Create guiding user-flows, thoughtful wireframes, and beautiful interfaces. Build design patterns through components, documentation, and best practices.
Be the user advocate. Engage with our customers and end-users to understand their needs and frictions, identify opportunities to address and validate assumptions and ideas. Promote ease of use and always optimise how users interact with our product.
Diverge and converge. Know when to quickly explore many rough concepts, flows and sketches, and when to zero in on clever interactions and engaging interface details.
Collaborate closely. Besides being an integral part of your product team, you'll work with the rest of Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing and other stakeholders to ensure that what we design, build and ship makes a difference. You will communicate well-annotated design specs for our engineering team.
Raise the bar. Work with our Heads of Product and your fellow designers to set the direction for our overall user experience and design system. Contribute to a positive, productive, and passionate design culture.
Manage a few product designers who will be embedded into their own product teams.
Who you are
You are a natural leader and love the mix of both managing a few Product Designers as well as producing design work yourself
You're an excellent communicator with the ability to effectively tell the narrative behind your design work and to engage your stakeholders.
You're user-focused and data-informed. Your product instincts and sense for aesthetics are excellent, but you still always strive to validate your work with user feedback and testing.
You have a passion for complex problem-solving and can turn insights into concepts, and concepts into awesome designs and experiences.
You take initiative and you take responsibility, meaning you are a self-starter that makes things happen, and you are result and solutions oriented.
You collaborate well with others within your own team and across teams and you support others to reach team goals.
We'll be excited if you

Care about the impact of your decisions by looking at data
