We are a fast-growing B2C Fintech Startup based in Zurich and Helsinki. We have built Selma, a digital investment assistant who helps you do the right things with your money. Selma is currently available in Switzerland🇨🇭, we have +7500 clients, and are eager to scale throughout Europe.

As a curious and self-driven community manager, you will be taking over one of Switzerland's fastest-growing communities of young investors. You will have all the tools and support to shape and grow in your role as Selma’s #1 ambassador in Switzerland.

 Among other things, you will

• Stand in constant exchange with Selma's clients and fans – online and offline

• Manage Selma's social media communities. Interact, chat, comment and engage with finance enthusiasts and followers.

• Find new ways to grow awareness and followers of the Selma brand on social media channels

• Research and keep tabs on trends that Selma's clients follow and enjoy online: on Instagram, Tiktok, Reddit, FB and even via experiments on new channels

• Turn Selma's content and news into great bite-sized social media posts, stories, videos, and more to educate and excite followers and reach new ones.

• Manage Selma's webinars, organize events and work together with Selma's partners to host joint social media AMAs, online and offline meetups, etc.!

• Become Selma's number one brand ambassador in Switzerland and come up with creative community-building ideas!

• Work with the latest marketing tools and social media platforms

Skills we’re after 

• Great ability to put yourself into the shoes of our users, and understand their challenges when it comes to managing their finances 

• Excellent communication skills – fluent in German & English (French is a plus) 

• You really enjoy social networks – you are at ease with posting, commenting, engaging in communities and would love to hone your skills at a growing tech startup

• Confidence to be in front of the camera (webinar hosting; being featured in posts...)

• Know-how of basic image and video editing 

• Excellent copywriting skills

• Curios and self-driven “get stuff done” attitude

• A basic understanding for personal finances and investing and eagerness to learn more about finances  

A plus

• Familiarity with tools like Canva, Later, or other social media and design tools   

• Experience in managing and growing communities online and offline  

• Experience with working with designers, e.g. as part of the content production team

• Working with brand guidelines 

As a core member of our Zurich-based crew, you'll work next to customer support & financial specialists and our CEO, and will collaborate with Finland-based marketing and design team remotely!

This is how things will progress:

1. Introduction chat with the Head of Marketing We’ll talk about your experience and expectations for this position – and you can ask everything you want about Selma!

2. Chat with the extended marketing team Get to know the people and the work in a relaxed call.

3. Co-working exercise Top few candidates will be invited for a co-working exercise. Together with the marketing team, you will be solving a real-life challenge. From you, this will take around 2-3 hours in preparations and a follow-up sync. We’ll set a suitable schedule together! :)

4. A final talk Let's bring our CEO to the table and have the final talk about you starting at Selma.
