Organizations IT footprint are sprawled across on-premise, cloud and even multi-cloud services, getting complex everyday. A skilled IT team cannot balance between solutions learning, training and work on a speedy and demanding environment. DevOps are adopting AIOps but what about the tools? WatchMyDC is here to take over! Delegate repetitive tasks & admin or ML defined predictive failure routines on WatchMyDC. Convert a sudden failure recovery tasks to a predictive failure routine. We are looking for a Sr. Business Development Manager to join in as a co-founder.
WatchMyDC Observability platform is about to fly. We are having manual tests before going commercial. The Automation platform development is in progress.
Your exact role can be shaped based on your strength and vision, but below should be the least to consider:
You will take the sales lead of the organization
Your first task will be to define a sustainable business plan considering the typical go-to-market challenges of a SaaS startup
Key buyers are organizations CIO, CFO and IT Managers. Influencers are Network Operations Center (NOC) Managers, IT Admins, Infrastructure Managers, System Engineers, IT Helpdesk Engineers.
We will spend hours on coffee and whiteboard to find a solution of impossibles
Since you will lead a sales team in near future and you will define the sales and pricing strategy, so:
You have proven records in business development operations, specially in a SaaS organization
You can work under pressure, modify the deck based on customer profile, decide on pricing
You can call yourself a Growth-maker
You arrange weekly sales review meetings, build a strong business pipeline, you are ready to travel to meet a stubborn customer
You enjoy sales operations, you enjoy leadership
You learn from your failures, you share your experience with the team, the team gets motivation from you
You are a great speaker, a story teller, a great person in mind. You help others, people talk about your greatness.
We don't care about your educational background
I am not a Finnish speaker yet, so english proficiency is needed
I'm tired of remote work culture, we will sit together at Tampere in our Platform6 office
You will commit full-time, at least 40+ hours in a week
We are bootstrapped, no external funds yet. Company will pay a modest salary to cover your living expense. We all are underpaid at this pre-seed stage.
