Quickorder is a fast-moving SaaS startup. We are creating the world's most innovative Restaurant OS combining point of sale, staff management, online ordering, and table reservation. By utilising guest and operational data, we improve restaurant profitability and overall revenue effectively enabling our customers to grow.
We believe that a great workplace is a workplace combining skilled colleagues with hard work. Our core philosophy is freedom and responsibility, which we believe make the happiest and highest performing workplace.
Are you our next Product Owner?
Do you have experience working with agile development and stakeholder management? Are you passionate about understanding customers and users, and about solving their challenges and needs? Do you thrive in a highly skilled team focused on solving difficult problems and continuously delivering value to customers and users? Then it might be you we’re looking for!
We’re looking for two of you, so you will either be Product Owner in our main office in Odense or with our newly established team in our Copenhagen office, where we’ve gathered groups of experienced developers. Along with our other Scrum teams in Odense you will help deliver the new version of our most popular product, that delivers solutions to restaurants in Scandinavia.
Being a Product Owner in Quickorder
As Product Owner you will be responsible for several product domains at Quickorder, and you and your Scrum team will ensure that the most value is delivered to the users as fast as possible. You will own and maintain the Scrum team product backlog and make sure the team is always working on what creates the most value. You will work closely with the other Product Owners and the Product Manager on delivering on the Product vision and strategy and help create transparency and alignment in the organisation.
You will work with relevant stakeholders, customers and users to make sure we focus on solving the most valuable needs and problems, and you should be available for the Scrum team to answer their business and customer related questions to ensure that we built the right thing.
What your day will look like
Maintain, refine and prioritize the Product Backlog, in User Stories that offer value to the customers and users.
Ensure the team can progress and reach the Sprint goal.
Continuously work towards a self-organizing and self-managing team.
Communicate with stakeholders and ensure transparency on team progress.
Collaborate with the Product Owners/Managers, Design and UX on shared alignment and dependencies.
Be a part of ideating, prototyping and solution definitions with the rest of the Product members.
About you
You have several years of exposure to agile product development, so you understand the agile principles and how agile software moves from idea to delivered value. You haven’t necessarily worked as a PO, and your formal education isn’t that important, but by heart you should love solving problems, understand users and manage stakeholders. You should share our high growth ambitions and our dedication to creating the best solutions for users and customers.
We also expect that you are motivated and excited about working in a fast-paced dynamic environment, that you thrive with taking on responsibility and have a natural curiosity towards technology and the restaurant industry.
The Quickorder team
In the Quickorder team, all colleagues are extraordinary at what they do and excellent collaborators. The value and satisfaction of being a part of such a team are tremendous. Our version of the best workplace is a team where working towards and pursuing a common goal and vision creates the real value.
We believe it is on such a team that you learn the most, perform the best, improve the fastest, and have the most fun. At Quickorder collaboration and trust is thriving and are an essential part of the team.
Freedom and responsibility: Our goal is to inspire people, more than to manage them. We believe that great performers who are part of a team know the better solution, and therefore it's not the managers' duty to tell how things should be done, but merely to set the context so that the employee can find the best possible solution.
