Internship at Abrigo Studio

Abrigo Studio is social impact startup on an exciting growth journey. We have participated in 6 competitive startup ecosystems in Denmark, including AKA Startup Academy, Rainmaking Loft's Entrepreneurial Programme, Creative Business Cup's Pitch Competition and we worked for 9 months from the Infinity Building built by Bjarke Ingels Group ;) We are on a mission to make cycling in winter a no-brainer - creating heated lifestyle products for bicycles to give riders the psychological and physical push to opt for cycling, instead of driving their car during winter. Duration and Format:

3-6 months

15 hours a week

Twice weekly team meetings, an hour each – Monday briefing, Friday debriefing and looking to week ahead

We offer remote working, touching base via zoom calls and keeping up to date on shared documents via online platforms.

Requirements:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office package. Focus on PowerPoint, Excel.

• Proven research and analytical skills.

• Comfortable speaking with stakeholders across different industries and at varying levels of seniority.

• Ability to juggle competing priorities and maintain overview of several different workstreams.

• Strong communicator, able to build and maintain professional relationships.

• 6 months - 2 years’ previous work experience, ideally from a consultancy. I am looking for someone that approaches problems analytically, is impeccably professional and has the ability to present high level concepts with ease.

• Passionate about biking, sustainability and using creativity to solve complex problems.

• Engagement in existing startup ecosystems a plus.

• Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top-tier university. Ideally you bring theoretical and practical skills from a degree within Finance, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Computer Science or Business.

Job Description:

• A sparring partner. We are looking for someone with enough work experience that they feel comfortable providing selected inputs to in-progress business activities.

• Producing deliverables to a high standard. We are going to be presenting to investors from a variety of contexts and we want to wow people with what we have to offer. Currently our pitch deck sits in Canva, but we are looking to onboard someone who is highly skilled with the Microsoft Office package, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.

• Administrative support in the form of meeting set-up, scheduling, and communications.

• Participation in selected startup events, webinars, networking opportunities

• Supportive function for meetings, conferences and the like - we are looking to resonate with others who believe in the same objectives as we do, so getting others excited about what we are building is key!

• Carrying out research and analysis to support company objectives, for instance target market analysis, industry standards, competitors, cycling data, patenting and IP information and vetting of external vendors.
