Digital Content Creative

Are you a graphic designer, a good photographer, love creating short film clips and have a strong command for social media? Can you navigate Adobe Creative Suite in your sleep? Then this job is for you.

As a Digital Content Creative at Barkalot you will get to know our customers really well, and ensure that they experience a great customer journey at Barkalot in all our digital channels. 

This is not just about taking beautiful photos and creating and editing moving material - it’s about understanding how our followers and customers will interact with your content on a deeper level. And most importantly - to grow our social media accounts organically with great content and letting our customers understand what it means to barkalot!


Your responsibilities

  • design digital content for our social media channels

  • take high quality product photos for our webshop and social media

  • produce short moving material (films, gifs), photos and written material

  • create a content calendar for at least 3 months at a time

  • edit and grade photos and film clips based on our brand profile


Administrative

  • creating visual presentations for your managers

  • perform general support and administrative duties


We’re looking for someone who:

  • has a strong command of social media, which includes engagement rates, hashtag usage, algorithms, content development, ways to optimize content and leverage - new and existing features of (especially Instagram and Facebook)

  • has excellent communication (verbal and writing) skills in English 

  • is highly detail oriented, meticulous and creative

  • can plan your workday and estimate the time and resources needed for your projects 

  • is humble and like working in a team - you’re receptive to feedback and you see rework and improvement as a fun challenge


Tools needed:

Graphic tools – Adobe Creative Cloud; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premier Pro, Animate, etc. Balsamiq, Adobe XD etc.
