Job description:
The Operations team at Neurons is looking for Data Analysts with training in large-scale data analyses and statistical modeling. As a Data Analyst, you will work on data handling, preprocessing, and analyses for our ongoing client projects. The data ranges from eye-tracking and neuroscience data, to implicit methods, psychological tests, and behavioral data. The studies have a broad range both in scope and geography, and studying and predicting people’s responses to a variety of experiences.
As a Data Analyst, you are passionate about your profession and are continuously developing your skill set. You can balance deep statistical knowledge with a focus on practicality and pragmatic solutions. In terms of experience, you have at least 2 years of experience from an insight or technology/science industry, preferably within B2B.
You are ambitious, engaged, and an active team player, but you can also work individually in a successful manner. You have good understanding of data handling and statistical analyses and excel at ensuring the best possible statistical tests in a timely manner. Your overall goal is to participate in the everyday projects run at Neurons, where your focus is to contribute to study design, data handling and preprocessing, statistical analyses, and handover to the customer insights team.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the highest possible standards on study design and data collection for client projects
Conduct data handling and preprocessing prior to statistical analyses
Pland and run statistical analyses that best answers the research questions and hypotheses in the project
Report findings to the customer insights team to ensure optimal reporting
In general supporting customer insight analysts in their project-related work
Ensuring validity and reliability of metrics and methods
Take part in the broader analyst team in developing our solutions even further
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Statistician, or similar role
Solid understanding of behavioral and psychological research, data handling, and statistical methods
Preferrably good experience with statistics in Python (Pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, SciPy, matplotlib, or the likes)
Solid statistical skills
Jupyter notebook experience
Good experience in visualization and presentation of results
Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
