We're looking for a Senior Backend Developer to help us in our mission to bring more song to the world.

Our service runs in the cloud using Amazon Web Services. We have built our own platform-agnostic API using Python and Django, which serves content to all our clients — basically, we could even run karaoke on your smart, connected fridge door or toaster.

To make sure those fridges and toasters are able to communicate smoothly with our backend services we’ve started to migrate our backend to smaller micro-services. This allows us to select the right tool for the job and you can utilise your expertise to make the right decisions. Since the migration to micro-services is still in the early stages, your contribution will affect how the future of our backend system will look like.

Ideally, you have previously:

• set up production environments using cloud services

• developed scalable infrastructures

• deployed services using containers

• built products from the ground up to production-ready applications

• developed client-facing services

We have a rapidly growing network of over 1000 venues in Europe and the USA. 

For consumers, the Singa karaoke app gives access to a huge library of high-quality karaoke songs on mobile, web browser, and Smart TV. You can sing on your own, make it a party with friends, or find the nearest Singa-powered karaoke venue and hit the stage.
