Founded in 2019, in a bid to generalize robotics with state-of-the-art software, RiACT is a fast-growing startup based in Copenhagen. We provide a universal operating system for industrial robots as the interface between robotic hardware and intelligent robot applications.

The RiACT team consists of leading software engineers within cyber-physical systems, robotic software architectures, control and vision algorithms. We were brought together by our passion for robotics. Our goal is to create the most advanced software for industrial robots, independent of brand and use-case, allowing robotic experts to design and deploy new solutions quickly and efficiently. We are fascinated by the possibilities it creates and we are looking for someone who is equally intrigued by the technology, capable of pushing our product and team to the next level. Who are you?

You are best-in-class and your capabilities will improve the speed and quality of our development. You have extensive experience (5+ years) in low-level programming in Linux systems and ROS as well as in implementing complex robotic software solutions in Python and C++. At RiACT you will:

• Design and implement robot arm motion control algorithms, incl. hybrid control strategies, DMPs and similar

• Integrate your algorithms into the RiACT software platform and help creating complete solutions for different applications

• Develop and integrate control modules for different kinds of hardware devices (such as robotic arms, various end-effectors, cameras, PLCs and other) in the RiACT ecosystem,  including the implementation of HW drivers and industrial communication protocols

• Refactor and optimize code into production quality implementations

• Ensure quality by investigating reported issues and writing automated tests around new or existing functionality

RiACT is still a relatively small company (6+ employees), meaning the work often spans multiple disciplines. We expect to double the number of employees within the next one and a half years, which means you will be essential to building a culture of creativity and growth in RiACT. In addition, you will:

• Manage your own schedule. Even though work can be hectic, we have a relaxed environment that respects having time for both work and free time

• Work in lovely offices located in central Copenhagen at the waterfront in Sydhavnen with a canteen, gym, coffee-machine and outdoor pool within 1 min. walking
