We are developing Ember Sword, a groundbreaking platform-agnostic and Free-to-Play MMORPG set in a player-driven fantasy universe, with digital collectible cosmetics and a blockchain-enhanced economy.

It’s a universe where the players control the world through true land ownership. A game in which all valuable cosmetic items are tokenized as scarce non-fungible crypto-collectibles, which are acquired by players through gameplay objectives, instead of sold through loot boxes. With a fan community spanning more than a hundred thousand people, a strong advisory board, a $2M investment round this year, and a very successful first land sale campaign ($1.5M) that sold out in just a few hours, Ember Sword is aiming high and growing fast.

The MUSTs

• You are willing to move to Aarhus, in Denmark, to join our local team of designers

• You have experience in level design and world-building

• Experience in shipping a game on PC/Browser/Console or with a team that did

• You have a passion for iteration and thorough work

• You love finding creative solutions

• You have strong communication skills

• You are structured in your work

• Have a thorough understanding of Unity

  
  

The GOOD to HAVEs

• Genuine love for MMO’s and/or RPG’s

• Have worked with isometric games before

• You know your way around 3DS Max or Blender

• Have experience working with remote teams and are good at communicating your ideas through text

• Ember Sword is developed using a custom game engine

• We have a very agile approach to development, with a very flat hierarchy
