Group NAO is looking for a polymath junior consultant / analyst (student) with analytical curiosity, an aptitude for data collection and analysis, a flair for creative business development and an eagerness to learn new ways of doing. As a junior consultant with NAO, you will be assigned with design, execution and management of market studies and research projects, data analysis and support to our senior partners with strategy conception and presentations.

We are a small agency of creative strategists and strategic analysts with particular focus on the experience economy – often working with clients in travel, tourism, retail, culture, and community development. More importantly, we are a team of people who appreciates curious exploration and challenge. We are at our best, when setting new agendas towards more sustainable and meaningful futures, when there is no set solution or template already in place and when working with people, who care enough about their work to ask curious questions and seek out multiple answers.

We are looking for someone who has an analytical mind, whose interest and motivation is easily ignited by a diverse range of tasks and projects, and who is eager to learn new ways of doing and develop new skills.

You will work together with highly specialised colleagues in our small team. You will be given responsibility for your contributions, and your ability to take that responsibility will also be key to unlocking more and new challenges.

 Our current projects range from destination strategy development, mapping and modelling participatory designs in tourism, sustainable innovation, prospecting a new museum, conference curation, data analysis and visualization, market potential mapping, art in urban development and much more…

More concretely, you will be:

• Performing research, collecting, and consolidating data

• Analysing and identifying insights, as well as visualize and present them – in reports, presentations, white papers, articles etc.

• Supporting the development of new business proposals and the identification of new opportunities

• Contributing to client presentations and deliverables

• Producing business cases, news, and updates for NAOs communication channels (website, social media)

• Supporting the team in various administrative tasks

Overall, we are looking for someone who has an analytical and flexible mind. We would like to work with someone who is persistent and playful in the face of new challenges. At the same time, we take pride in everyone contributing with their distinct and unique skills – and we want to help you put those into play!

You are currently studying at bachelor’s or master’s level in a relevant degree. You have strong writing and presentation skills, and good proficiency in the use of Excel and PowerPoint.  You don’t care if you are working in English or Danish, as you are fluent or near fluent (spoken and written) in both. We consider any additional languages a bonus.
