JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an intern to join us in our office in Copenhagen to assist with communication and community engagement for a period of 6 months. The position is paid and start date is January 2022.
YOUR TASKS
Communication:
Customer support in Intercom (messaging platform). You will be responding to member’s questions, feedback and issues that they raise through our member app. You will collaborate with almost all teams to solve these requests.
Keeping our FAQ up to date based on the above.
Identify and collect feedback from members, ensuring it gets addressed internally by the respective teams.
Draft emails to be sent to the community (eg. an update/ warning/reminder to a house, or a whole city).
Identify ways to improve the communication with members and processes connected to it.
Community engagement:
Plan, create and host community events.
Post and engage with our members in the various groups within the member app.
Handle reimbursements and invoices for member activities organised by LifeX.
Create valuable partnerships with businesses beneficial to our members.
Generate new ideas for events to facilitate a community vibe.
Own the monthly community newsletter.
WHAT WILL YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED TO SUCCEED
Sincere, empathetic and caring personality. You have a genuine interest in and curiosity for people from different cultures.
Fluency in English, spoken and written. Our members are from all over the world, but all communication is done in English. Any other languages are a plus.
Excellent communication skills. You are able to communicate in a mindful and sincere manner while remaining concise and professional.
Great time management and organisational skills. You need to be able to manage a lot of information coming at you from various channels, so a high attention to detail is important and a conscientious effort to get things done too.
The ability to thrive under pressure, with a positive attitude and assuming the best of people
Team player attitude. You are great at cross-team collaboration and work well with your colleagues, offering help and support while always communicating information openly and honestly.
Strong problem-solving skills
A creative mindset to come up with ideas for events that engage our members and connect people with similar interests.
WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU STAND OUT
Experience with event planning and execution.
Experience in customer service.
Being a native English speaker but it’s not a requirement.
Bubbly personality with a focused and organized mind.
