What your job will be:

• Managing and directing supply chain activities throughout Asia with a specific focus on China & Taiwan, including supply planning, inventory procurement, and planning, logistics, and QA.

• Understanding of production processes and the planning tools within the e/bike industry.

• Visiting and handling relationships with Asian suppliers, incl. production and assembly QA visits.

• Monitor incoming components or material from arrival, storage, quality release, and final availability for production use.

• Coordinate all process materials requirements with Procurement in HQ to ensure timely availability to support the production.

• Represent Donkey towards suppliers in Asia and develop good working relations with them.

• Coordinate with shipping and freight forwarders to ensure components meet shipment schedules.

   

You have: 

• Previous experience of minimum 3 years in a managerial position is highly desirable

• Regional Exposure in APAC markets is a must

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in a supply chain position in an international organization.

• Exposure to sales & operations planning

• Demand-planning experience

• Knowledge of logistics operations (warehouse and freight)

• You don’t mind getting your hands dirty and you do not shy away from visiting suppliers and working with them on finding solutions to technical or practical problems if the situation requires this.

• Previous experience working with e/bikes is a big plus

   

You must have:

• English language proficiency

• Mandarin language proficiency

• Ability to travel 80% of the year
