We are a small knitwear brand based in Malmö and we are looking for an assistant to work closely with our founder and production manager to support us during our period of growth.

This will be a hands on and physically active role with many tasks. It will be well suited to somebody who has a lot of energy and enthusiasm for working in Fashion and sustainability. Ideally you have experience with working in the Fashion industry and/or start-ups. You enjoy getting stuck in and are confident to make the work your own and to take initiative. You believe in the importance of genuine circular sustainable fashion brands changing course of the fashion industry's devastating impact on the environment. You want to see fast fashion brands become a thing of the past and feel proud of your role towards making change.

The role will be on a freelance basis and roughly one day per week, during working hours. It will be the responsibility of the candidate to be able to work on a freelance basis according to tax laws. We are not looking for a full time candidate at this time.

In our small studio we have a busy environment where we do everything from dyeing the wool (non toxic, natural process), prepping wool for knitters, packaging orders, photography, design, making, knitting, sewing and all the rest. It is colourful, fast paced and keeps us all on our toes. You will help with many of these tasks as well as keeping the studio tidy and organised. Our ideal assistant will enjoy to help with all manner of tasks.

Responsibilities:

• assisting with wool dyeing (no experience necessary). This beautifully creative and rewarding skill is also physically demanding.

• packing orders and organising pick up/deliveries including taking/collecting parcels from local pick up points.

• customer service. Mostly in the form of email and social media messages. You must be kind and engaging and uphold our community values.

• social media tasks. Create and execute a social media schedule. You will help create our community on facebook, work with ironing out some of the technical features such as ig shopping. You are willing to read through all those boring instructions on improving features :)

• production assistance. Communicating with knitters, working with our production manager when needed.

• studio management. Keep the studio tidy and organised. Implementing and improving work flow.

• preparing invoices and general admin tasks.

• Marketing tasks such as managing our photo library, helping with organising photoshoots etc

• Web shop upkeep. Image uploads, general maintenance.
