Station Academy Program Team (volunteer position)

Station Academy is a brand-new interdisciplinary talent program for students, with the aim to foster members’ personal development and enhance change-maker competencies.

Right now, we want to create a pilot to facilitate active Station members' personal development through a structured learning path. Station wants to formalize actionable learning experiences that are already existing and give support to all its members to grow personally and professionally, in the more creative way possible. 


We are looking for creating an amazing Station Academy Program Team that will:

  1. develop and plan innovative workshops for the community

  2. engage with partners to collaborate for open innovation and share knowledge

  3. structure and improve the educational contents/methods


As part of Station Academy team, you will develop your skills in

  • Building methodologies for a new paradigm of education.

  • Project management

  • Turning educational strategy into concrete initiatives

  • How to facilitate an educational workshop

  • EdTech development

The roles & responsibilities in the team

We work as a team and distribute responsibilities during the onboarding. Responsibilities can change during the program, according to how your interests develop, or if you would like to challenge yourself in another role.

You can apply for specific responsibilities from the beginning if some are more attractive to you.

Overview of responsibilities, we are recruiting for:


Event Coordinator

Coordinate responsibilities, tasks, resources and timelines for events. These are:

  • Educational workshops (Monthly during the semesters)

  • Codesign sessions (At each semester start)

  • Optional: Internal Event

If interested, there are also fundraising and partnerships development tasks.

Time commitment: 2-3 hours / week

Qualifications: Structured, Thorough & Descriptive, Hand-on


Workshop designer

Develop workshops formats for the community.

Time commitment: 1-2 hour /week

Qualifications: Creative, Educational methodologies, Facilitation skills


EdTech Designer

The EdTech Designer is a person who enjoys being updated about innovation in the field of education and wants to experiment with a real new startup project.

Time commitment: 1-3 hours / week

Qualifications: App development, Digital skills, Startup development

We are an interdisciplinary community of students and recent graduates who 1. create the most thriving crossdisciplinary student community 2. empower students through hands-on programmes and projects about sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship, and 3. engage in collaborations with the private, public and civic sector. We are 30-40 core volunteers and around 250 members split into smaller teams doing programmes, projects and activities. We are from every university in greater Copenhagen and specialize in a multitude of different disciplines ranging from STEM to social sciences and journalism to everything business related. We are also culturally mixed with approximately 50% Danish and 50% Internationals. We are based in the 100-year-old police station of Frederiksberg that we have just transformed to the slickest space for 52 million DKK to fit the ideas of bright minds.
