If you work in the startup or finance space, you might have heard the term "family office" being thrown around especially when it comes to raising investment. But have you ever wondered who or what they are? How they really operate? How do they compare themselves to others and improve what they do?

Here at Simple, we are on a mission to make the world of family offices more, well, simple. We debunk the complexity as we dive into large landscape questions such as, what is a family office, how many family offices are there and how to start one. At the same time, we're working to re-imagine the potential of family offices as a force of change in the world, so we look through new lenses such as purpose drive, digital excellence, transparency sustainability, diversity and wellbeing.

We're setting new standards in what we do while dragging this dusty old industry with us to make it both relevant and totally fetch.

As part of this work, we also track service providers to family offices across different categories, compare them and help family offices select them.

We're having a lot of tailwinds right now and seeing some great traction around our online family office insights and data platform, but we understand that to continue our success we must build our business development and customer success functions. That's where you come in.

Our customers include both family offices and service providers to family offices. In each segment, we have a slightly different offering and because of this, we might split this into two roles over time - unless you're a can-do maverick and suit both needs.

About the role and responsibilities

• Mainly working with the service providers that we track (Technology, investment-related, banking and other).

• Working mainly with inbound enquiries to join our datasets

• Actively manage our sales pipeline for this category and feed this with new leads

• Roll out our existing offering to service providers to new categories alongside our expansion of categories.

• Also developing new products for new customers - other consultancies, for example, are interested in using our data.

• Help ensure existing customers are happy with the returns they get through our engagement and look for new ways to add value.

• Work toward long term optimizing of our pricing.

• Be accountable for the service provider's performance and success. We are successful if they are successful!

About You

• You have some idea at least of what family offices are

• People say you’re a great communicator and you can build a mean presentation deck

• You leave no stone unturned when it comes to developing impactful relationships

• You’ve either participated in or led commercial negotiations

• You are curious, technologically savvy and not afraid of getting hands-on in the details. You probably dismantled things as a child, you love to know how things work!

• You’re a great listener and are often described as someone who has high energy...

The position is either remote or ideally based from our HQ in Copenhagen.
