We are looking for a highly ambitious and diligent student to join our Hardware team for an internship in summer/fall 2021.
As an Industrial/Mechanical Design Intern you will be an integral part of the Hardware Team and support in bringing design ideas to life; setting-up mass production, setting our quality standards, making our products more sustainable, and shaping the look, feel and usability of Airtame’s future physical product portfolio.

Responsibilities
Proactively seek to learn about Airtame and the Hardware team function within the organisation.
Support with setup of upcoming products in mass production.
Quality and validation testing of physical product designs, and corresponding documentation of the results.
Develop technical product-launch content and renderings.
Support in developing product packaging and user manuals, considering the unboxing process and users experience
3D modelling and visualisation of concepts of products and/or test equipment.
Take on responsibility for setup and maintenance of our hardware lab.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Design or similar
Studying a Master’s/graduate degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Design or similar
Understanding of design processes and methods
Good visualisation skills and ability to put concepts on paper
Comfortable with CAD software (SolidWorks, OnShape)
Experience with rendering software (Keyshot or similar)
Savvy with 3D printing (FDM and SLA)
Enjoys physical prototyping and hands-on activities
