The Digital Gardener is an early stage start-up which builds software to help growers and gardeners. Through this, we aim to increase the availability and consumption of locally grown food; - whether the food is produced locally by small farms or by home gardeners for their own consumption.
An initial version of the solution is currently available for beta-testers, and we are continuously making adjustment based on the feedback we receive.
The application is built as a fully server-less web application hosted in AWS with front-end based on React. This makes it easy for us to swiftly develop and deploy improvements, however, we need your help to keep up with the customer needs.
We expect you to:
Help us built the best possible solution for growers by building quality code and by choosing the best libraries.
Have a passion for building beautiful and user-friendly solutions.
Work with speed and help us take common responsibility for removing impediments.
Take the main responsibility for building a separate mobile application, most likely based on React Native.
Have experience with React and/or React Native.
You will get the opportunity to:
Build a new SaaS solution from scratch.
Have a strong voice in technology decisions.
Work independently, with flexibility and freedom when it comes work hours and workplace.

We are an early fase start-up and need to keep our costs down. We expect you to work part-time from your home office during the first months. Compensation can offered by equity, a start-up friendly hourly rate or a combination. If you think this is of interest, get in touch and we can discuss the details.
