• You have a desire for making a change and are looking for an opportunity to leverage your skills as a UX/UI designer to make a real and scalable impact.

• You have a great understanding of user interface design and a profound interest in how things look and feel.

• You are able to comprehend abstractions and navigate in complexity, but most importantly you are capable of boiling it down to a simple, elegant and beautiful user experience without losing the essence.

• You value the importance of UX and care for details where they make a difference.

• You can see projects through the whole process, from investigating user needs, to ideas to visuals to the finished product and user testing.

• You are experienced with designing web and mobile applications and familiar with Figma.

• You are excited about the idea of joining a startup, where there is a lot of freedom responsibility and opportunity to shape things early on.

👷‍♀️Primary area of responsibility

As the Lead Product Designer, you will be in complete charge of our webapp, webpage and further down the road, mobile app. This mean improving existing features, rethinking existing UX/UI and designing something totally brand new.

On the UX side you will be in charge of ensuring that we continuously involve our users in the co-creation and co-designing of Acter, ensuring that we at all time base our decisions on real needs rather than assumptions.

On the UI side, you will be in complete charge of the look and feel of the webapp and website, which means taking our current design and visual presence to the next level, by streamlining the user experience and user interface.

To summarize, here is some of the day-to-day tasks that you will be spearheading:

• Running feedback loops with our user

• Developing ideas with the business team, based directly on user insights

• Designing low and high fidelity mockups to test and iterate

• Design all UI material for the development team (Layout, components, styleguide etc.)

• Collaborating with the development team to ensure succesfull implementation and deployment

• Collect and synthesise incoming feedback from users in both quantitative and qualitative ways.

💰Financial expectations

It is our ambition that we in the very near future are able to not only pay market wages but even above, to ensure a good life quality for everyone in the team.

As of now however, being a start-up and also bootstrapped we are not able to directly compete with market standards. As such, if the pay-check is what's most important to you right here and now, this is not the right match.

We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the whole team and who is excited to embark on a journey of building something big and truly meaningful.
