We’re searching for a Head of Tech to join our umbrella company, Neighbors, which currently consists of two D2C companies, Copenhagen Grooming and SoKind - and more to come. Neighbors sell skincare products to customers in more than 70 countries with yearly revenue of more than $25M. 

Since we’ve launched 3 years ago, we have outsourced tech to our sister company, Hobbii. As we’ve grown bigger and the ability to continuously develop our business has increased, the need for an in-house Tech Team has grown significantly. Tech is one of the most crucial functions for our future growth. 

That’s why it is time to bring tech home! You’ll be responsible for making the “big move” as smooth as possible, for defining our future tech road map, and executing the plan. Over time you will build your own tech department with the necessary resources and set your own tone in the department. You will be responsible for leading the team and making sure that we’re geared towards technological development in order to reach our growth targets. 

As Head of Tech, you’ll make sure our e-commerce platform runs stable and you’ll plan, oversee, and lead tech projects. We’re not only looking for a Head of Tech to run our technical operations, we’re looking for someone who is curious about customers and can collaborate with us on our commercial strategy and ensure that tech becomes a competitive edge in our businesses.

• You are familiar with relevant technology trends and technological infrastructure in the field of D2C business

Experience useful to succeed

• PHP (Legacy e-commerce platform)

• Python (ERP system)

• Experience with front-end development

• Experience with project management

• Experience within the field of e-commerce

• Experience with planning or tech stack and architecture

• Experience with microservices
