Purpose and Scope 

Veo Technologies’ ever increasing market share demands re-inventing the company, accessing new markets, acquiring new products or services, gaining access to resources and capabilities, and achieving economies of scale. We now need a Corporate Finance & Ventech Specialist to help on this journey and to partner with the company’s Finance organization and other senior business leaders.  

The person in this high visibility role will be supporting the Management team in the development and execution of Veo’s financial strategy, including equity and M&A projects. Many assignments will be highly ambiguous and require an independent, intellectually curious individual who can frame situations through multiple lenses including the professional investor, business owner, and corporate finance specialist.

Main tasks and responsibilities: Financial strategy

• Prepare pitch material and structure dialogue with potential investors.

• Drive equity funding projects incl. due diligence process, advisor selection and tasks scoping, in-house preparation for management, negotiations and cap table analysis.

• Drive venture debt funding strategy, including ongoing dialogue with existing loan providers, analysis of the debt market products and establishment of new debt agreements. 

• Develop and update long term financial models, forecasts and assumptions and prepare funding and M&A scenario analysis. 

M&A

• Support the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of M&A opportunities and other strategic initiatives.

• Prepare and support the presentation of acquisition opportunities to the management.

• Drive M&A projects including due diligence process, advisor selection and tasks scoping, in-house preparation for management and negotiations. 

• Lead and develop comprehensive valuation analysis to properly value acquisition or investment targets.

Knowledge, Qualifications, and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or other relevant degrees. MBA or equivalent desired.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, financial planning and analysis, or in previous corporate development.

• Strong understanding of the venture capital markets and dynamics.

• Strong understanding and implementation of M&A valuation methodologies with advanced financial analysis and modeling skills.

• Expert in excel and powerpoint.

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to accurately assess complex situations and synthesize information to provide meaningful conclusions and recommendations.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and persuasive written/verbal communication skills.
