PatientSky reduces the distance between patients and healthcare providers through a palette of communication tools, mobile apps, and web applications. Our products include calendars, patient & clinic communication, journal, medication systems, etc. We are looking for talented people who will help us build the next generation of healthcare software and drive our platform to the next level.
As a network engineer at PatientSky, you will be working with Juniper equipment like SRX and MX devices. Our infrastructure includes integrations between open source systems like FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Juniper, VMware, Comware, and other vendors. We strive for an easy setup at our locations in Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm to make things easy, and we have good collaboration with the DevOps team.
PatientSky also operates as an Internet Service Provider for its data centers and customers in Norway, and you will have options to increase, develop and maintain our ongoing and expanding network.
This role will be part of our Platform business unit, consisting of multiple Team-leads, infrastructure engineers, senior backend developers, junior developers, product owners, and other supporting roles. You will report to the technical Team-lead, and employment is under our CCO PaaS, Anne Rasanen.
You have 4+ years of experience with networking
Great insight and experience with Firewalling, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, mainly from Juniper
At least a JNCIA/CCNA education or equivalent
Fluent in English (company language), written and oral
We are not a typical conservative company that requires you to have all the fancy diplomas and 10+ years of experience. We evaluate if you are the right person for the job, in terms of skills and personality – that's it. We expect our staff to (1) deliver good software, (2) be able to work independently and in teams (3) enjoy what you do. We are all professional nerds, and we are proud of it.
Work in a dynamic, meaningful, and young company that provides healthcare software for millions of patients, thousands of doctors, professionals, and clinics
Working with great technologies & good colleagues
Competitive salary and terms
Lunch & self-service cantina at our office in Odense (DK)
Travelling to our other offices in Copenhagen (DK), Oslo (NO), Helsinki (FI)
Work phone & subscription
Flat business unit structure
Flexible working hours & possibility to work-from-home
You are a passionate person with the desire to contribute as a team member as well as individually. Knowledge and continuous learning are something that motivates you, and you are happy to share your expertise with your colleagues, regardless of whether they are developers, designers, or project managers. The PatientSky family consists of a wide range of talented and diverse groups - we see diversity as a strength.
We have an excellent social culture at our offices, so you should not be afraid of playing a match of foosball, drinking a beer/cup of coffee or tea/glass of wine, and having a chat on Fridays. We occasionally have social gatherings (if COVID allows) across offices and strive to have bi-monthly social events like going fishing, playing games, going out, hackathons, etc. In the Platform unit, we prioritize having room and time for these activities, including educational programs, to facilitate continued learning.
