About the job 

You will be responsible for developing, innovating, and monetizing our business design offers towards existing and new target groups within the startup and tech ecosystem together with the sales team. As Head of Design you are responsible for defining the design process and our way of working together with other VNTRS Team leaders and your Design colleagues. You will also be recruiting new colleagues, and be part of building a strong culture within the team. This is a leadership and business development role in which initiative, management, and problem-solving skills are required.

Also, the majority of your work will be working with clients where you will be leading them from idea to a well-designed product. You will be part of a cross functional project team where you will be prototyping and building visually compelling user interfaces for our clients according to our take of the Lean Startup Methodology. 

You will collaborate with other designers to help raise the bar of conscious design and ensure a seamless customer experience. The role will involve creating wireframes, UI mockups, low- and high-fidelity prototypes for mobile, tablet and desktop environments, as well as designing and managing visual guidelines. 

Lastly, on a regular basis, you will be facilitating workshops with different kinds of stakeholders, and leading design projects. While using data and customer insights in order to cover all different perspectives when solving business issues.

Must-have

• 6+ years of relevant work experience where you have been responsible for design related work, and worked with bigger design teams (using tools like Figma, Sketch and Adobe Suite in your day to day life).

• Also, you have experience in analytics, user research, usability testing, brand development, and design thinking.

• You have a portfolio to present great work you’ve done in the past.

• You have experience in business development. Packaging and innovating the design business offers based on industry knowledge, and insights from the sales team.

• You are a people person, and you’re always ready to share your knowledge, and assist your colleagues. 

• Fluent in English.

Nice-to-have

• Experience with CMS/Wordpress.

• Relevant working experience as a developer is a plus.

• Previous experience as a consultant.

• Fluent in Swedish.
