What is MoveNation?

MoveNation is a startup company that wants to make the world's best website for moving citizenship from one country to another country. Our first goal is to help 1 million people move. According to Gallup 750M dream of moving to another country.

Today moving your citizenship is as challenging as booking airline tickets before the 1990's - and before Expedia, Momondo etc. existed - Traveling used to be complex, expensive and super slow.

If you have ever tried to move from one country to another - You know the problem. Every year +20 million people move citizenship in a very old-school and shitty way.

Our mission is to make it as easy to move nations as it is to book an airline ticket.

The team currently consists of Peter the hustler and Simon the hacker. We are now looking for the last piece of the puzzle, a hipster that will be our designer.

Our solution

We want to give our users an instant overview of all the options that nations have to offer. How many bureaucratic steps it requires to move and the total costs of everything included. (advisors, taxes, investment returns etc.) long story short which country provides them with the best life for the best price.

Thinking BIG - We believe that we can change entire countries by helping more people move from expensive cities to less expensive cities. Moving pensions & wealth will fuel emerging economies. We believe we can help retirees with bad health conditions retire 10 year earlier if they had the insights of where they alternatively could retire and live from their savings.

We are in the absolute early-stage of our journey and you will have a huge influence on shaping our way forward.

The help we need from you

You have experience with UX strategy. Turning research and insights into user journey maps, opportunity maps and user segments, creating hypotheses and value propositions.

You have experience with digital idea- and concept development. Could be through design sprints, prototyping, or similar.

You work in a goal- and data-driven way and would rather want to validate your hypotheses through research, tests, and prototypes, than trusting your gut instinct.

Define, articulate, and test ideas, concepts, interactions, and prototypes with a strong focus on solving user needs.

Help specify and sketch out intuitive user interfaces.

The role (From Freelance to Full-time ASAP)

We know the value between good and bad design and thus we want to have a full-time designer associated with our work. While we are early-stage it is too soon for us to hire full-time, thus we want to start with freelancing and if the fit is good there will be a full time spot for you on our team. 

Your areas of responsibility will be:

• We are launching a new landing page soon and are 70% in check with what we want and hope you can finish the last 30% and make the value 2-5X with the value of UX and design thinking.

• Work closely with the CEO and CTO to prototype.

• We are also creating the first version prototype of MoveNation by iterating based on user research. 

• Facilitate co-creation workshops with relevant stakeholders.

• Form the design process for MoveNation’s future employees.

About you:

• You have 3+ years of experience with UX design.

• Or are a top-tier student talent that is undiscovered and you just need a stage to perform your magic.
