In EnergyMachines we are on an ambitious mission to develop the future integrated energy systems that will transform our buildings from climate problems to solutions. We work with heat pumps, solar power, ventilation and geothermal energy storage.

We know the future is digital and to enable our solutions to scale, we are developing smart solutions within SW & HW. To support our clients in being brave and choose a climate neutral solution, we are modelling and simulating our integrated energy system on machine-, system-, building- and grid-scale.

To support us in this we are developing an ambitious cloud platform for dynamical simulations and analytics!

Today, most simulation tools are closed-source, tied to a single computer and heavily priced. We are changing this along with the workflow of simulations and analytics in groups and teams - with our browser-based workspace we will, apart from running simulations, enable sharing, collaboration, automation, cloud execution and no-license pay-as-you-go. This platform will empower our team and other teams to transform the building energy sector and beyond.

Our platform is a combination of a modern front-end in React and a primarily python based backend deployed in kubernetes. We use gRPC for intra-services connections and firebase, redis, bigtable and buckets as our data backends while managing our deployments with skaffold.

Aside from the technologies above, experience with and interest in tech-startups, jupyter, AI/ML, HPC, linux, open-source, scrum & agile and dev-ops CI/CD is also highly appreciated.
